Amazon is removing an opt-in privacy feature called "Do Not Send Voice Recordings" from Echo devices, meaning all voice requests will now be sent to its cloud. The new setting, "Don’t Save Recordings," deletes recordings but still processes them temporarily in the cloud. Users who relied on this feature for privacy are upset, as it limits their ability to prevent data sharing and use features like voice ID.
